Hi, I'm Brooke!

I grew up in a small town called Normal, Illinois (yes, it is a real place!). I attended Purdue University, met my husband on a summer internship in South Africa, got married when we graduated, and immediately moved out to San Diego in 2016! I became a mom to my sweet boy in 2022, which has been the joy of my life. Jesus captured my heart at a young age; He is the heartbeat of everything I do and who I am. I've worked in ministry since we moved to San Diego, and currently serve with Grace City Church as the Community and Outreach Director.

My love for photography started in middle school. Each Christmas, I would ask for a digital camera that was a few more megapixels than the one I had the previous year until my parents finally decided this passion wasn't going away and bought me my first DSLR camera when I was 14. I truly owe my professional journey to them, as they chose to invest in me as a creator.

I shot my first paid shoot when I was a senior in high school, and have been doing it ever since! Photography is ever-evolving, and I've seen so much growth in my craft over the years. Each shoot is an opportunity to create something new and beautiful. That's why I love photographing people! My favorite thing is following people and families over the years. I get to be with people as they celebrate life changes, and it's an honor to be part of their lives in this way. I would love to be a small part of your story. Let's make memories together!
